Project Maverick received 2nd Place at the 2016 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in the category of Engineering Mechanics. It also received recognition from the International Council of System Engineers (INCOSE) through their $1500 scholarship award.
On Monday April 11th, Project Maverick was featured on the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon on NBC and was presented the GE Fallonventions award. Project Maverick has gained a new pair of eyes! A new ZX gesture sensor from Sparkfun has been successfully tested and is getting ready to be implemented into Project Maverick's Autopilot System. This will allow Maverick to quickly and efficiently find obstacles and doorways before encountering them. Project Maverick and its updated Autopilot System will be featured at the Central Valley Science and Engineering Fair on March 17th from 6pm to 7pm. Please visit here for more information.
